The video shows two men identifying themselves as being from the 122nd Precinct to gain entry into a home on Merrymount Street in Heartland Village back on July 19th.

Once inside the home, police say the men locked a woman in a third-floor bathroom. Police say two more accomplices joined in the robbery.

The homeowner, who is the sister of the victim, told NY1 that her sister believed the robbers were the police.

"When some one tells you they're the police. They're dressed like the police. You're going to believe they're the police," said the woman. "I guess she didn't know any differently."
